| | | | Registry Mechanic Customer Reviews | I has tried many of registry cleaner tools, I think Registry Mechanic is good, it does do a nice job cleaning your registry and easy to use. I also like its interface, it's beautiful.

Unlike most registry cleaners that bluff their way into getting a big count, Registry mechanic is far more concerned into what it finds and what it omits. Its not how many it finds but rather what it finds. Registry Mechanic is the safest.
Its compactor is awesome - nerver failed me. My machines always becomes faster after a scan->compact.
It also has a registry monitor that I've setup to monitor my startup keys and notify me of changes to critical sections. Nice and its not intrusive.
The tweaking is great.
Scan speeds are ok.
Overal - easy -> safe and doesn't go overboard. I trust this program - after some terrible experiences in the past using other programs.
This one never fails me.

Registry mechanic is a great registry tool. It works better than the registry tools included with Symantec System Works. If you purchase this version at 5.1 you can get a free upgrade to the latest version 6.0 once you register the product. Try the evaluation and you will see how many registry errors your machine may have that can effect its performance.

Registry Mechanic was very easy to use and found over 800 errors in my registry. It cleaned them up automatically, without causing any problems. My system runs faster and boots up quicker. I was reluctant to try fooling with the registry, but I'm glad I did.

This is an excellent program for those who are either not computer savvy enough to do a manual registry repair, or who simply don't want to do a manual repair. I purchased this product after my computer had been overrun with Trojans. A tech support guy attempted to remove them all without reformatting (using avast! Antivirus). He was able to get most, but not all removed. I then downloaded Spybot Search & Destroy and installed this program. Much to my relief, I was able to remove all of the Trojans and clean up my registry, resulting in faster computer performance. This program is easy to use and I highly recommend it. Regarding the reviewer who advises not to buy the product, I wonder if he did not create a system restore point before compacting the registry. It is vital to create a system restore point whenever making changes to the registry, just in case the changes cause a problem with computer performance. I had no problems whatsoever with this program, and again I highly recommend it.

Registry scares me. Other software inaccurately read my registry, deleting essential components needed for my system. My last scan using other software found over 200 registry "errors", correcting a handful and prompting me to delete "missing" or "invalid" entries. Registry Mechanic takes the guesswork out of keeping your system clean. Unlike the other software I used, it doesn't show me an abundance of so-called errors and prompt me to tell it what to do. Registry Mechanic simply scans your registry, finds errors, shows you the number of errors found, and asks you if you want them corrected. It seems to do this quite efficiently and I'm thankful to say I have not had to undo any "corrections" it's made as I've had to do with other software.

I have used Registry Mechanic for about 6-7 years. It the only one I trust and is 99.99% 'fool-proof' just Read the directions. 1) Easy to download, 2) Easy to do Updates on 'main' page, 3) Fast scan engine, 4) Excellent 'Back-Up' and 'Re-Store' section, 5) With W-XP you can also do a System Restore Point just to be sure.
