Even for someone like me who doesn't really know 'how things work' this software was easy to use from the outset. I just clicked on the scan button and the software did the rest. A really easy operation.
Under a button called 'Backup Controls' there's a great automatic backup. So every time you run a scan and repair problems, any changes you make can be undone. Restoring is very easy - a one click operation. There's also an additional full registry backup tool.

This feature allows you to manager all of your internet explorer objects to ensure only things are running that you want to!
Startup Program Manager
It allowed us to have a Control over all of our start up options using this simple utility, We could view detailed descriptions of each software installed on our computer and also prevent those we did not want to run at start up.
Add/Remove Program Manager
This feature of RegistryFix gave us better Control over all of our applications/programs installed on our test system, from this easy to control utility. Its, A useful function especially if others use your computer and tend to uninstall software that they think is not required.
Full Registry Backup Utility
Control all of your backups from this easy to control utility.
Help Files & Refund
There's no explanation of what's being fixed here and the help files are simply a link to a few pages on the Internet. Although the tool isn't exactly impossible to use, it's disappointing that they didn't take the time to write better information on getting the most from the tool.

Summary
RegistryFix worked well, it was effective and cleaning our test machine registry, but lacked some of the better features that programs like Registry Mechanic had. I couldn't see why this tool was given such a high price tag($37). It doesn't do as good a job as some of it's cheaper competitors. |
